The charges on the receipt are designed to be transparent for our customers to follow and understand.
Here’s a summary of the items that may appear on your receipt:
This is the base fare for any standard ride.
The actual cost of the distance traveled during your ride, charged per km.
- Waiting (initial):
Charges for waiting for the customer, charged per minute. Calculated from the time the Captain has arrived at the requested pickup location until the customer is in the car and the ride starts. The first 3 minutes wait time are not charged.
- Waiting (in-journey):
Charges for stops made along the way, charged per minute. This is also applied for stoppage time at traffic lights and traffic when the vehicle is moving below 16 km/hr.
- Airport surcharge:
Charges that are applied on airport pickups to compensate the Captain for parking, paying applicable airport taxes, and waiting up to 30 minutes.
- Promotion discount:
The discount applied from any promo code used in the booking.
Charges applied if the route passes through a road tollgate where mandatory fees set by governments are to be paid.
This appears when a flat rate for a ride is applied (e.g. flat rate for the 4 hours package).
- Peak surcharge:
This charge will appear only if the booking was made during peak time.
