Your transaction is still in progress due to one of the following reasons:
- Identity verification is in progress.
- Receiver verification is in progress.
- Delay from the receiver’s bank in accepting funds.
We will notify you as soon as the transfer is complete.
What if there are missing documents?
In case of a delayed transfer, we may request for additional documents* which are mandatory as part of the compliance protocol, knowing that all your data is secured every time you make a transaction with Careem Pay.
Documents we may request include:
- Receiver’s ID card
- Sender’s bank statement (to verify source of funds)
- Salary slip (to verify source of funds)
- Receiver’s address proof
