Mobile recharge or bill payments can take up to 24-48 hours to reflect on the service provider's end even though the payment has been cleared on Careem.
If it still does not reflect after the mentioned timeline please check the following:
- Recipient’s mobile number is correct
- Bank issue: Careem should be authorized for online transactions.
I paid my Postpaid Bill but the transaction failed.
When you pay your Postpaid bill through Careem using your Card, our system may verify your payment method by attempting to hold an amount. This is a temporary authorization hold and is not an actual charge.
- An amount is put on hold on your payment method at the start of service.
- However, instead of getting charged, the amount is released right away.
It may take up to 24 hours to reflect on the card/account, depending on the bank's policy.
Is it possible to cancel and reverse the transaction for the recharge I made?
Once the recharge is purchased then it cannot be reversed.
