What changes can be made to an order?
Once an order has been placed, we’re unable to make changes or cancellations in the following cases:
- Updating the pickup location (restaurant)
- Applying/Changing a promo code after the order is placed
- Adding notes/instructions to the order
- Changing the payment method is not possible once the order is placed. However, we can guide you on how to update it from the App for future orders. Please note that switching from cash to online payment is only available for Careem-delivered orders and must be done from the order page. This option is not supported for self-delivered orders.
- Changing order items if it affects the original price or if the restaurant does not agree to the change
If you need to make changes to your order items, this is only possible if the price remains the same and the restaurant agrees to the modification. Otherwise, the order will proceed as placed.
We recommend reviewing all order details, including payment method, promo code, and special instructions, before confirming your order to avoid any inconvenience.
How to request a change in order?
Please give us a call as soon as possible by following the steps below:
- Select 'Menu' on the app homepage
- Select 'Help'
- Your recent order will be visible under 'Food' tile
- Tap on the 'Order' to Contact us
