Once you have an active pass, you can check the station with available e-bikes nearest to you on the app and follow the below steps:
- Scan the QR code on the bike frame on your app
- A green light appears on the dock and unlocks the e-bike.
- Remove the e-bike from the dock by lifting the seat or pulling backwards on the handlebars and you’re good to go!
Before scanning, check the left side of the dock. If there's a red light, the e-bike is unavailable—scan another e-bike without a red light. After scanning the QR code, wait for the buzzer and green light to confirm your trip start, then remove the e-bike from the dock.
Note:
- Pulling the e-bike before the buzzer and green light may damage the dock and e-bike.
- 45-minutes free with each unlock on the single trip, daily, weekly and monthly active passes.
- Extra time charges: 10 for each extra 30 minutes beyond the initial 45 minutes on the single trip, daily, weekly and monthly passes. In order to avoid the extension fare you can dock the e-bike at a station and unlock the same or another e-bike again.
- With the pay-as-you-go pass, you only pay for the time you ride, AED 1 to unlock, and then per-minute charge applies from the moment of unlock.
