Always try to ride on a dedicated bike lane when available. Watch out for your environment when riding on streets or pavements.
Geofence is a virtual boundary around specific areas created using GPS or RFID. It triggers actions when a device or object enters or exits this area, such as sending notifications or tracking location.
There are two zones to be careful of when riding the scooter;
- A slow-speed zone is a geofence area where vehicles, like bikes or e-scooters, are limited to a lower speed for safety reasons.
- A restricted zone is a geofence area where vehicles are not allowed to enter or can only be used under specific conditions, such as no-ride zones or areas with regulations.
Both types help manage and control the movement of bikes and e-scooters in specific areas.
Note:
The zones are color coded on the app map screen; once you tap them a brief explanation would appear.
- Slow Speed Zone; Yellow color:
Once entered in this zone, the speed would be gradually reduced and have no option to increase, even if accelerated. - Restricted Zone: Red color:
Once entered in this zone, the vehicle gradually stops working with no option for acceleration or movement.
Once out of these zones, speed and acceleration will work and can be rode as normal.
